A NEW GENERATION OF TOUCHWOOD HORSES COMPETE IN TEAM PENNING

Pen 3 unruly cows in less than 90 breath-taking seconds??? It can’t be done without steady, well trained and athletic horses………like those from TouchWood Arabians.
We’re thrilled that TW Agassiz, TW Jasper and TW Norquay are following in the footsteps of Capeesh and TW Riel (aka Louie) who have received recognition as formidable penning horses for several years now. 
TW Agassiz (Capeesh X TW Lady Caissa) is proudly owned by Caroline Friesen. Agassiz is a full brother to our stallion, TW Oka, and shows the same awesome cat-like ability. It’s no surprise that Caroline and Agassiz are already demonstrating good times and placing in the money.
TW Jasper (Capeesh X TW Bravo’s Matinee) has become Ron Lemay’s second penning horse and will be competing against Louie for “Horse of the Year”. Jasper has inherited the athletic ability of Capeesh and Roan
oak Barlo; a unique blending of well recognized performance bloodlines.
TW Norquay (Eldans Wotan X TW Brittania) is owned by Dale Barkman and will soon become a regular at penning events. Norquay is a full brother to our stallion, TW Marshall, whose first foals have set a new standard of excellence for us.
Capeesh switched from reining to team penning in 2003 and was named "Horse of the Year" by the Manitoba Team Penning Association in 2005. 
Louie has been consistently nominated for that honour over the last several years.
